Snow-capped mountains in the distance behind the Lake Pukaki are the glaciers in Southern Alps.
At 1pm. we are in Twizel and at Shanty for lunch: BLAT bagel and Mediterranean tartlet.
We reach Omarama around 4pm. We decide to camp at Top10 campground (for NZ$15 per person including towels)
