We are all excited about the
start of our 3+ week bicycle tour vacation on New Zealand's South
Island. Qantas does not make it easy, though. We expect to pay
for extra pieces of luggage, such as sports equipment, but not for
extra kilos. At the check-in we end up paying S$1680 for the extra
weight which equals one return ticket to Christchurch :(
When survived the check-in,
and past the immigration and security, we enjoy very welcome beers
at Harry's at T1.
