One last escape

Earlier this summer we spent two weeks traveling while our bathroom was under renovation (separate post about that is forthcoming). Still after the works a few things were missing and we had a wrong toilet (because of unclear communication and some email glitches). For the contractors to finish up, yesterday we booked a one-night stay at a hotel in the nearby town of Meylan, where Tomi works — since one of the things had to do with the shower, we could not stay home that night. No shower in this heat is out of question!

While Tomi was at work, I explored the several parks around his office (the picture of the office building on top of this page). There were nothing special about those parks, most of them being kept in their natural state instead of being manicured, but they offered nice shade on this very hot day.

For the dinner place we chose the restaurant l’Entourloup (which in English means ‘dirty trick’) based on their online menu. The food was better than usually in the average (not upscale) French restaurant. We just hope they did not play any nasty jokes on us.
