The most miserable running weather ever

February 15, 2015October 6, 2019 tei

I guess I posted a similar title a couple of weeks ago. The weather forecast promised rain for the morning and then clearing skies for the afternoon. Well, it did not happen. It was varying clouds and sun in the morning and at 2pm. when we headed out it was […]

Worst ever running weather

February 1, 2015October 6, 2019 tei

Our long runs have met some bad luck recently. Partly because of us, as we’ve been watching winter sports on TV, but today nature was against us. It was barely snowing when we left (after watching two and half sets of Djokovic-Murray Australian Open final for three hours), but just […]

December 25, 2014October 6, 2019 tei

December 23, 2014: It was -2 degrees of Celsius in Grenoble at 9am., but later in higher altitudes (1400m) a mere T-shirt was quite enough when stopping for lunch (with Mont Blanc in the backdrop), even if the temperature did not climb over +10C. We had a plan to climb […]

Randonnée dans le Vercors – Col Vert

December 25, 2014October 6, 2019 tomi

On November 2nd we climbed to Col Vert (1766m) in Vercors Range. The total hike distance from Villard-de-Lans (1085m) to the summit and then back via a longer and gentler route was 15.2 kilometers and took us almost 5 hours. (click on the photos to enlarge)
