Working on my green thumb

Our house is so called village house that does not have a garden or a balcony. However, we have large windows — from floor to ceiling —  both in the kitchen and the living room, so if we have them open (which we usually do) it feels almost like having a balcony. The windows also have relatively wide ledges outside for us to place planter boxes for herbs. We have spent the past few rainy days visiting gardening centers to buy the boxes and the herbs. Now we have oregano, thyme, rosemary, parsley, cilantro, mint, and two types of basil growing in those boxes. And also some flowers in smaller boxes on the window of  our study on the second floor. The facade with the boxes faces North-East, but gets a lot of sunshine before noon, so let’s see how these plants survive!
