It will rain for long Ditto Ohio
Last day we take the classic Route 50. We stop for a lunch in a small town of Winchester, VA. A liquor store owner tells us his wife crossed Appalachian via curvy US 50 once and she will never do it again. That lifts our spirit; not only literally, since we leave his store with couple of six packs of local beer. US 50 proves serpentine and hilly, slow and long, and we are more and more worried about our limited mileage. Still, I bet we'd do that trip again with no such hurry. We missed so many nice little towns on our way.

By dusk, curse of Ohio strikes us. Together with darkness, Ohio welcomes us with thunder and lightning show that lasts the whole night long. And heavy rain. In Cincinnati we give up the US 50 and switch to US 32. We fail to find a dinner in Athens, OH (the rain!) so, angry and hungry we drive to Bloomington, where we arrive around 3am.
