Another easy hike (11.6K in 3h 50mins, D+/D- 720m) deep in the Chartreuse range. The first half was quite boring, since we mostly walked in the forest and did not have many views to the surrounding mountains.

The second part was much more interesting. It also traveled in the forest, but it followed the beautiful river Cozon downstream. The river had carved an impressive canyon in the rocks, and it had several waterfalls along the way.  The forest sheltered us from the burning afternoon sun, while the rushing mountain water provided an additional cooling effect.
