Another visit to the ghost ski station of Saint-Honoré 1500. The previous one was on winter last year when we started a hike to Lac-de-Charlet (1921m) but had to turn back because of the icy snow conditions. Today’s hike was nothing like that. Of course it wasn’t since we are in the middle of a heatwave, in the summer. Luckily we got some nice cooling breeze when crossing the mountain passes.

Originally we had another plan to climb to Le Tabor (2389m), but when at the lake we decided to do the loop around Pérollier, which was a good decision. We had quite a comfortable descent back to Saint-Honoré 1500. And no other hikers in view.  In total we covered 11 kilometers in four hours with 693m D+/D-.
