Day 4 - From Jasper to Washington

Together with the sun, wind becomes stronger today. We cross the west fork of White River and pass few lively metropolis (like Glendale) before arriving at Gasthof, Amish Restaurant and Village in Montgomery for lunch. Lunch buffet is good - because of the German flavor - but the village, in general, is more like an Amish Disneyland.

A more true and authentic Amish experience we observe after hitting the road towards Washington, IN. We see some buggies and women in long dresses.

Oh well, in Washington we overnight in Twilite Motel, a block away from the Main Street. The town has more churches than people, but also bodily nourishment is available in K.J. Alexander's Restaurant.
